Dogs are welcome
on the Trail as long as they are under control. Please be aware
that the Trail has several stiles. Dog
gates are provided where possible, but a dog may sometimes have to be lifted
over a stile. As the Trail
passes through areas of croft land, we ask that you take particular note of
your dog’s behaviour at these points, keeping it on a lead if necessary.
This section of
the Trail is fenced to keep out livestock and so protect young trees and
regeneration. It is not necessary to keep a dog on a lead
here.
This area is outwith the fenced area and may have
sheep grazing
there. Particular care should
be taken that your dog is under control at this point.
