Trees brought down by gale across most northerly path.

Avoid by taking first path to right (clockwise direction )

or to the left (anti-clockwise direction)

 

WET CONDITIONS, OCTOBER – MARCH

 

Please be aware that during the winter months, the Spey  Banks section of the Trail

can become very wet and after  prolonged heavy rain can become impassable. 

 If in doubt, contact the Wildcat Centre

and/or keep to the  Milton, Craggan, Strone and Allt Laraidh sections. 

 

LIVESTOCK

 

The Wildcat Trail passes through three crofting townships and walkers

 can expect to meet livestock.    Please be aware that cows are very protective of their calves

and take care if you have to pass close to them.

 

Dogs should always be kept under firm control.
